Bulbophyllum bowkettiae F.M.Bailey, Proc. Roy. Soc. Queensland 1: 89 (1884).
A miniature Australian species found in the State of Queensland at elevations of 600 – 1200 meters in rainforest trees and on rocks and boulders as a mini-miniature sized warm growing unifoliate epiphyte or occasional lithophytes, widely spaced, slightly compresed, deeply grooved pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, dark green, fleshy, tough bilobed apically leaf that blooms in fall through spring on a basal erect .5cm – 1cm long, shorter than the leaves inflorescence that carries a single flower.
