Bulbophyllum bowkettiae
Hi Michael, Another first for me, I've read about this species but never seen an image before. The temperature range for growing conditions is also revealing I always thought these were warm growing. regards-Bernard
Bulbos
Hi Bernard,
Australian Bulbos are basically divided into three groups 1. Lowland tropical. 2.Highland tropical. 3.Temperate. Only one temperate species in Australia extends to the northern tropics,( as far as Cooktown ) that species being B.schillerianum, and usually only above 800 metres, but occasionally at lower altitudes. In the south of its range I have observed it around sea-level in and around the Clarence River basin (Northern N.S.W.)
Cheers,
Michael.
also around Paluma Range
Hey Michael, these are also around Paluma Range at quite high elevation in and around cloud forest.

B.bowkettiae.
Sorry steve I was aware of that but decided to leave my comments short, they also occur in a small pocket on the McIlwraith Range.
Bulbo's
Thanks to the information received from Michael and Steve, my knowledge of Australian Bulbophyllums and their growing conditions has more than quadrupled over the last couple of weeks.
