Bulbophyllum renkinianum spirit sample

posted these images to show how I put samples in spirit.

The scape of this flower is 33cm long and the rhachis (the flattened part with the flowers is 14cm long).
The jar is 13cm long so I have had to ease the rachis into the jar. I could have used a longer jar but would have wasted the spirit, which is made up of 95% pure alcohol
and 5% glycerine. This mix with the pure alcohol is very expensive. I do have another African species with an elongated rhachis to pickle which will also fit in this jar.

I just have to make sure that it is not in direct sunlight or extremes temperatures.
