Distribution: China (Yunnan), Indo-China
Origin and elevation of this plant: Chiang Rai province of Thailand, about 1000 m
Habitat: open forest.
Pseudobulbs: basically swollen.
Leaves: semi-deciduous, terete.
Flowering habit: single flowered inflorescence from the apical nodes.
Flowers: sepals and petals white, pale purple spots on lateral lobes of lip, inside lip orange.
Flower size: 15 mm wide, 20 mm long.
Flowering period: November to January. The flowers do not last long.
Fragrance: the flowers are smelling like talcum powder.
