Rhyncholaeliocattleya Chia Lin 'Golden Eye'

Chia Lin is a cross between Oconee and Maitland.The picture is not good enough but I always have problem with red cattleyas.Any advise is welcome.

Don't use flash
There's times when fill in flash is good, but to capture true , or close to real reds and violets, use available light without flash.
You will need a tripod to hold your camera still as it may use a slow shutter speed to record the flower, which results in camera shake from your hands.
Depending on whether you have a point and shoot or SLR depends on how you manage your exposures.
With a point and shoot I would recommend taking several shots at different Exposure Compensation, ie., from -2.0 up to -0.5 and pick which image best shows the colours of the flower. With an SLR on manual, you do the same, but by adjusting the f stops to adjust the exposure.
