Coelogyne assamica

Section Fuscescentes. Distribution Bhutan, N.E.India, Burma, China, Laos, Vietnam and Thailand. Inflorescence proteranthous, 19-25cm long. Up to eight 7cm wide flowers.
The interesting feature of this flower is the lip which has three keels of a pink jelly-like substance, the centre keel being somewhat shorter.
