Had this a long time, and only flowered when thrown into the garden!

I see you grow Masdevallias as well as Dendrobiums Simone? Some Dendrobiums will grow extraordinarily well in an environment more suited to Masdevallias and the like but will refuse to flower.
Treat them harsher (ie: bannish them to the garden) by giving them higher light levels and a lot less water (especially a drier winter) and they will flower like mad to make up for it.

You are oh so right Wellsy, I think I will banish many more Dens to the Rock Garden and ease up some more plants who like to flower and be pampered!
