Bulbophyllum unnamed

Bulbophyllum unnamed

This image is of an unnamed deciduous species which I have had for three years. Most of the deciduous species within Bulbophyllum have two leaves, this is because they have to make up the bulbs in the short growing period.
This plant has aborted its inflorescence for the past three seasons. I'm hoping that there will be enough strength in the plant to enable it to flower this current season, after the leaves have dropped.

Attaching

Hi bernabu, the new bulbs and leaves look very healthy and strong, I hope you get to see flowers next time. Please photos when it flowers, will be very interesting I'm sure. What do you tie your plants to the mounts? This one looks like you have used wire. I used pantyhose cut across and into narrow strips. It stretches and will last about 2 years. By then the plant should have attached itself well and truly to the mount.
Pawpaw

wire

pawpaw, my wife gets the wire fom an arts and craft shop, it's non rusting, soft, strong and pliable. I can also re-use it. Fingers crossed for the flowers.

wire

My wife buys the wire from an arts and craft shop. It is strong and very pliable also re-usable and doesn't rot or rust, so it's ideal for purpose.
