Bulbophyllum bisetum

Bulbophyllum bisetum

Distribution India and Burma and Thailand; A very small interesting plant with 2cm tall psuedobulbs and the leaves are 10cm long. The pendant inflorescence up to 6cm long normally holds four or five small 1cm long flowers close together at the tip of the rhachis. The sepals are unusual as they have deep costate ridges on the adaxial surface . There are also small yellow terete appendages behind the petals and long column spurs.

Have attached a close-up image of a single flower. A better view of the white cilia on the edges of the lip.
