Hi bernabu,Good to see a photo of this Bulbophyllum. I have 2 in quarantine at moment. Now I know what to expect when and if I get to flower as long as it survives quarantine.

Eric, are you saying that you quarantine these plants yourself or is this due to plant import regulations?

Quarantine
I ordered some Bulbos from Thailand with a number of other growers around Australia. The plants are in quarantine according Australian regulations and have had the gasing and inspections etc. Hopefully on the next inspection they will be released.

mush
I had heard Bulbos can be badly affected by the gas?
It's a shame to see plants that do not handle the gas well...just so much mush and not a lot of life.

quarantine
Did these plants come out of quarantine OK Eric?

Not Sure
Some of the plants I ordered have been released, Bulb. planibulbe wasn't one of them. Not sure how the rest of my plants are fairing. Will find out and let you know.
