contrast
This one certainly has a startling colour combination between the fully shaped and warm colour of the petals and lip and the contrasting yellow sepals. Still can't make my mind up whether I warm to it or not, and wonder if an increase in size of the sepals would balance the overall structure of the flower. The hybridizers are producing all sorts of combinations of colours, what next?

Bernabu,
I am going to say something here that could be 100% wrong or correct, Bill might know more on this I hope. A local nursary up this way in Northern Australia run by George and his son Peter Valmardre sell these. As far as I know they imported the clone 'Lea' and had this one come out of the batch, they then had it cloned and they now sell them under this name. They did this I think with the 'Yellow Chocolate Drop' also ( I posted a pic on this site sometime back of that one ) as I said I could be wrong and I say sorry now if I am. The plant itself grows very well, these flowers came while we had 34 days of rain, NO sunshine at all in that time. I grow under 50% shadecloth open to the weather ( no solid roof ) so I was very surprised at the flowering.
