Bulbophyllum calceolus
Endemic to Borneo. Psuedobulbs fairly close on a thin rhizome. Inflorescence up to 3" long, with single flower up to 1" long with nearly black, pouched lip. Flowers non - resupinate.

Well I've been to Borneo quite frequent....but I seldom seen this species in the market....

B.calceolus
Pak, This species is endemic to Borneo. According to Vermeulen the habitat and ecology of B.calceolus is, Montane forest. Usually in rather open forest, riverine forest, podzolic forest. On branches of shrubs and trees, rooting on the bare bark or in thin moss. Once found growing as a terrestrial. Altitude 1300-1650 m.
Distribution in Borneo: Sabah: West Coast/Interior zone (Mount Kinabalu; Ula Padas).
