Section Hirtula, Distribution: Laos and Vietnam. exceedingly flat pseudobulbs very close together on a long extended rhizome. Inflorescence with swollen rhachis (not unlike the rhachis in species from section Megaclinium from Africa) with a few unusual small flowers emerging from a large bract, the flowers have a long thin bristly lip.
