Top plant
I wish I had this plant in my collection!!!!
Is this a meristem or a seedling from a sib cross?
Horst
Are you sure?
Is this an alba? There are alot of brown specs.
C.guttata var. alba
Yes, that's the alba variety. The alba variety usually has a better flower shape as the species type form.
To be considered alba the lip, the tube and the column have to be white. Sepals and petal have to be light green with or without spots.
Catt. guttata
Yes Horst, it is a clone.
As for the variety I thought this was var. albina and the light green with white lip, column and tube was the var. alba version.

alba/albina
I have to check.
It might be that São Paulo makes a difference in between flowers with spots and flowers without spots.

C. guttata var. alba
Might also be worth a look here Horst, this is what we have been told is the alba version.
