wellsy, considering the size of the flowers on S.micrantha you have captured these flowers superbly. I have this species in flower at this time, but the inflorescence is
only one and a half inches long and the flowers are about 3mm wide.
The inflorescence and flowers on your plant look larger more robust.

Thanks for the compliment

Thanks for the compliment Bernard!

I concur with the 3mm wide flowers...lucky I wear reading glasses to be able to see them at all!

The inflorescence on the longest (and closest one) is around 3 inches (75mm) long.
These two plants are both divisions off a plant I have had for about 30 years. It had to be cut up about 6-7 years ago to get rid of 'dead wood'.

S.micrantha

I think this shows the difference in our growing conditions, at this time of writing it is freezing outdoors, average eight hours daylight and no sun on my greenhouse until February.
