Sophrocattleya Bella????
Following possibilities are :
Sophrocattleya Bella (Cattleya labiata x Sophronitis purpurata)
Sophrocattleya Aphrodite (Cattleya mendelii x Sophronitis purpurata)
Sophrocattleya Canhamiana (Cattleya mossiae x Sophronitis purpurata)
Sophrocattleya Eximia (Cattleya warneri x Sophronitis purpurata)
Sophrocattleya Fascinator (Cattleya schroederae x Sophronitis purpurata)
These are the closest identification I could think of. But not sure. This is another one those that is difficult to identify. Better to have it unnamed.
hey mitch
hey mitch you seem to have an endless supply of plants with no labels mate?
I reckon you should give these sort of plants a miss and start looking for some plants which have all the info on the tag.
It gets more important if you are considering breeding. Most people would not be interested in seedlings of unknown parents.
I agree totally in what your
I agree totally in what your saying bout breeding vs no labels.
I only have a few with out labels which is bout 0 .2% of my collection. I also only have posted 6 images i didn't know what plants they where...
The rest have labels . I have now got in to the habit of taking photo of plant & label just in chase if bad winds hit and they go everywhere. I also make sure when i am purchasing they have labels in them.
These plants where inherited or given to me. I have managed to give most of the unknown plants away to friends or family whom just like the flowers.
Many thanks for your advice.
sounds like a good plan
