A Bulbo imported about 4 years ago finally decided to flower. I grow it on cork, bulbs about 10-15 mm tall, leaves to about 100mm with a longish rhizome between bulbs. No idea what it is - can anyone assist?

Haven't seen this one before JK, but will try and track it down. There are over 1800 species in Bulbophyllum, so it will be quite a challenge.

Bulbo sp. - further limited info on the source
Hi Bernabu,
Quite a challenge methinks. The plants were imported from Simanis Orchids in Indonesia. There was (?) no label on the plants but I assume they originated in Irian Jaya, Indonesia or Malaysia.
Though the photo doesn't show it, there are 6 flowers on the umbrel.

Bulbophyllum sarcophyllum
JK, I think this one is B.sarcophyllum, up to 6 flowers 1.5 - 2cm long.

B. sarcophyllum
Thanks Bernabu. I think you may have it though searching the web, I am not sure that mine is the most impressive specimen out there. I will attach a better (?) photo in another post which I am sure the moderator will link to this.
Thanks again,

perfection
JK, most Bulbophyllums are extremely variable, colour and markings are influenced by a number of factors including light intensity. I'm sure you are pleased with your plant and no doubt, expect greater displays in the future.
