Comprising up to 100 species of generally small, monopodial epiphytes which have from short to long stems, some being climbers. They usually have a flattened raceme with several to many flowers borne along the two edges.
These orchids live in lowland tropical rainforests up to an altitude of 1,200 m. Flowers are fragrant and generally only last 2 to 3 days.
Cultivation
Best grown on slabs of cork, treefern or similar with year round watering.
