Hi Pawpaw.
Here is the front view of my plant's flower. I believe B. sylvia/B. sylviae is probably correct. The plant was initially purchased a B sylviae with the seller later advising it had been re named to tortum.

This flower (not fully open)looks like B.sinapsis.

Bulbo sylviae - flower is open
The flower is in fact fully open. I just checked another flower on the plant which is not far from falling off and the only difference time has made is that the greenish sections have turned yellow.

Is it possible to see the bulbs and leaves of your plant? It never ceases to amaze me when we see a new species we invariably see something similar (just to confuse us) which of course makes our hobby interesting.

No problem - I shall post
No problem - I shall post tomorrow picture of both plants

Hi JK,I have this plant in flower at the moment. I got it as Bulbophyllum sinapsis but I think the name is wrong. I have now put the name Bulbophyllum sylvia to it. Please check www.orchidspng.com/discus/messages/6/8508.html Wolfgang H Bandisch has a discussion on it with a photo posted Monday April25 2005. I will post a photo of my flower soon.pawpaw

I don't think that this is from section Sestochilus. Is it possible to see the leaves and bulbs?

That's what I thought
Thanks JK, I'm happy with both plants being the same and I assume the source of both is Geoff Stocker.
I like Bernards Bulbophyllum sinapis as the correct ID.

Bulbo sinapis
JK and Pawpaw, Wolfgang did find a plant and wanted it named Bulb. sylviae and sent it to Leslie Garay for identification and publication.
I suspect Garay found the plant was already identified and published by Jaap Vermeulen and Peter O'Byrne in 2003.
If you both agree, I think we should list both your plants as Bulbophyllum sinapis as per Bernard's identification.
