Paphiopedilum Natasha Von Fox Schonburg 2005
Have a read and a closer look at this!
Hybrid formula: Paphiopedilum liemianum X Paphiopedilum victoria-regina
Grower: Les Flood
Heres an interesting flowering for you! I would not have believed it if I had not seen it myself. Two absolutely different flowers on the one spike! See for yourself....and no superglue was used either!

Paph. growers, super glue!!!!
Funny that you mention super glue Wellsy, hadn't heard or thought of this trick until about two weeks ago, A grower was picked up for this at a show judging in the Brisbane area.
This flower above is very strange, how does the grower explain it???
Bill
as shocked as I was
He is at a loss to explain it...He was as shocked as I was to see it.
Ken Smart says it is a 'sport' not common but does occur. Ken has not seen it yet but will soon I think.
PS: well I'm shocked to think that a smart man like you didn't think up that trick Bill. You would need ever so small a dab on those little rascals you grow for ever such a large effect....lol
Regards wellsy
latest development with this
latest development with this strange plant is that the flower on the left is now developing much like the one on the right. the exception is the dorsal sepal which is still the same as the photo. when the changes are complete I will post another photo. stay tuned!
