So what we have here Davo is a complex Paphiopedilum hybrid.
Paphiopedilum fairrieanum x Paphiopedilum Ambersham (a plant which is a species crossed with a hybrid) which has then been crossed with Paphiopedilum Venture X Marion Fischer (two hybrids crossed).
OR
Paphiopedilum (fairrieanum x Ambersham) XX Paphiopedilum (Venture X Marion Fischer)
Some may constuct it a little differently and may not use the enclosing brackets as I have done.
