Diplocaulobium obyrnei W.K.Harris, Lasianthera 1: 148 (1997 publ. 1998).
Distribution: Papua New Guinea
Diplocaulobium obyrnei is another true miniature which is easy to grow and flower but if you don't check it daily when you spot the tiny buds you will miss out on the fabulous flower which only barely lasts for one day unfortunately. Forms a dense clump if grown well on a cork or treefern mount. Give it bright light and plenty of water and fertilizer while growing. Has a short rest over winter so cut the fertilizer and reduce water.
