Chytroglossa aurata Rchb. f. 1863
Synonyms:
Chytroglossa aurata f. luteoviridis V.P.Castro & Chiron, Richardiana 7: 68 (2007).
Distribution: Brazil. Found at the Atlantic Rain Forest and also at sea level in the states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Espirito Santos.
Classification: Found different information from different sources.
Blooming season: Spring.
Temperature: Range from +5ºC.in Winter up to +35ºC. in Summer
Light:Grows well in between Cattleyas.
Flower size: 1.5 cm on spikes of 6 to 10 flowers
Planting media: Mounted on plaques of tree fern .
Watering: Must be kept moist all year around.
