Cattleya intermedia var. flamea rubra
This variety is new.
Lately we can see the result of some crosses in between dark flamea or aquinii plants with rubra ou sanguinea plants.
Sanguinea and rubra plants are very rare. Therefor it took some time to get reasonable offspring.

Unbelievable!!!!!!
Simply magic Horst!!!!!!!!!!!!Great work.

Slurpppppp!!!!
Feels like i'm in heaven now. Totally extraordinarily stupendously magnificent.
Thanks for the picture Horst.
Paradise on Earth!!!!
I can only imagine, that IF there was a paradise on Earth, the majority of the flowers would be like the pictures you have put up to show the rest of us!
The flowers above are truly delicious, and have set the bench mark! Congratulations Horst

Yowsers
Yowsers! It just gets better and better. If this species could now be filled in even just a little it would rival some quite complex hybrids I think. It has such deep intense colouring.
