Aerides Korat Koki
A very robust grower producing long sprays of flowers every year without fail. This hybrid is made up of Aerides houlletiana and Aerides lawrenciae and was made in 1991

This is a wonderful show. I have never achieved this number of inflorescences on my Aerides - is it seven or eight? What is your fertilizer regime?

Fertilizer regime
All my orchids in the shadehouse get the same treatment. I try to fertilize once a week, alternating from fish and seaweed, and some of the Flowfeed fertilizers such as BM7, DM3, GF9, and HP8. Then around 4 times a year I use calcium nitrate and magnesium sulphate, these two cannot be mixed together nor mixed with the Flowfeed fertilizers. I use all my fertilizers at recommended strength. With my softcane dendrobiums I stop fertilizing at the end of April and start again at the beginning of October.
