Cattleya Interglossa

Cattleya Interglossa
Primary hybrid (Cattleya amethystoglossa x Cattleya intermedia)

Cattleya Interglossa

do you ship to Australia

Horst do you ship flasks and/or plants to Australia?

I can imagine there would be a number of people here who would like to know how they can get hold of some if you could let them know how to arrange that?

Regards wellsy

Nice one

Horst, nice...very nice. I think that this is one of those rare crosses that is actually better than either of the individual parents. It's interesting to note the difference between this image and the one you posted earlier, (with the same parents). The lip is entirely different and there are the spots on this one, which of course come from the amethystoglossa. Is this one of your crosses?

interglossa

Bernard,
All this crosse where made by my friend and ex partner Aldomar Sander. We actually started a orchid export business in the 90th. Due to personal problems of Mr. Sander we couldn't carry it to a higher level and sold only during 2 years plants to USA, Japan and Taiwan. After that we where taking a different path and some of the plants ended up in my green house.
Whenever I post a picture from one of my own exclusive crosses I am mentioning in the comment.

About the C.interglossa images: The one with the redish color is a common interglossa which got the color and the spots from the amethystoglossa species. Inflorecense and lip from the intermedia parent. The one with the bluish color got the color and the petals from the intermedia coerules parent. The inflorecense and the lip from the amethystaglossa parent and has also some tiny spots.
Regards
Horst

Commercializing

I am posting all this more or lesser beauties, because I think your web forum and all the contributers deserves to have more content of South American species, primary hybrids and multiple hybrids with South American species involved. Up to now I am still an amateur grower with a huge passion for this beauties. It took me almost 20 years to get a reasonable collection. Lately I decided to go a step farther and increased the number of crosses significantly. In a couple of years I hope I can offer you some offspring or even some clones from this beauties.
If somebody is interested I could also post some of the crosses we are working on. Like pictures of seed and pollen parents in one image. But only if this is not a violation of the ethical purpose of this forum and if someone is really interested.
One remark for all of you: You are participating in the best and most professional forum on the net. Congratulations to the creators and congratulation to all contributers.

Last....whenever you have anything to sell post it here and I can tell you confidently it will sell!
