Dendrobium stratiotes is a plant which is found from New Guinea to Indonesia in the hot lowlands. It is best grown with year round warmth and moisture. It likes a shallow pot which is well drained and will form pseudobulbs to 1 meter long if grown well.
Infloresences can reach 40cm long with up to 15 large and well displayed flowers.
