Aeranthes ramosa
Temperature:I.
Country:Madagascar
Contributor/s: Ian Walters (Photo 1) and Al Bickell (Photo 2)
Aeranthes ramosa. Ian Walters says, 'Rare species, 3.5cm green flowers on long wire spike, heavy shade.'

Al Bickell says, 'Aeranthes ramosa greatly resents disturbance of its root system. The roots are very fine and easily broken. Flowers are an emerald green colour and seem to hang in mid-air while suspended from a fine, black, pendant flower spike. The suspending spike is all but invisible because of its thinness and colour. Plants flower freely after becoming established but that process may take 2-3 years.'
