Edit as per comments, original submission below.
Catt. hybrid unknown, sure did smell good.....
Can anyone give it a name????

Marianne
Your unknown Catt has stirred some of us up Down Under (Australia)
I have my friends madly looking for a name for your plant, we all want one.
Have you got any clues as to what it might be????

Cattleya hybrid unknown
Hi Marianne, I think your plant is a cross between EPC Viannawood and LC Thospol Spot. It is an
unregistered hybrid as far as I can find out. I found a photo of a plant that I think is like
yours in a catalogue from Thailand. I have had the catalogue for at least
20 years. I will send a photo of it to Bill so he can post for me.

Could it be Epc. Siam Jade

Very close
You are very close Pawpaw but I do believe Buckie has it right with Siam Jade.

Marianne
Any chance you could post a photo of the foliage???
As much of the leaves and bulbs as you can, that may help determine Cattleya or Epicattleya.

I am very sorry to say that this is a plant that I lost due to my own stupidity. I was hoping to get an id so I could replace it. It was a reliable bloomer. It was a bifoliate and small, kinda the size of a C. walkeriana.
It was a perfect windowsill orchid.
Catt or Epc
That's ok, well not that you lost it but that is enough info to keep us going.

This one is a gem!
Wow....This one is a gem! We certainly need to know what this one is if possible.
Unfortunately yet another example of how the best plants always seem to go to a better place!

Marianne
We have narrowed it down to Siam Jade or Saengsri Fantasy (Vienna Woods x Thospol Spots) but because it is a hybrid none of us can say for sure which plant it is.
I would like to thank Buckie, Pawpaw, Jean and Bob Browning from Townsville, Australia for their efforts.
The only info we can add is that you are looking for Epicattleya (old genus name) or Cattleychea (new genus name)
(edit submission to Cattleychea unknown hybrid)

Bill and everyone,
Thank you for your enthusiastic interest and help. I'll keep an eye peeled for another plant like that one and I'll keep you all updated on my search.
Thanks again,
