Cattleya Hybrid White/Mauve Ian (unknown)

The story with this one is that it originally came from Ian Walters (Burleigh Park Orchids http://www.speciesorchids.com/ )as a seedling out of a batch of flasks which were supposed to be Cattleya mossiae a great many years ago....probably around 28 years. Ian very quickly realised it was mislabelled as Cattleya mossiae and it has been in my collection labelled Cattleya hybrid White/Mauve Ian ever since. It's a vigorous grower and flowers reliably every year with a pretty good show.

Note the similarity of this flower with the photo you have posted....it could easily be a sibling I reckon.....not saying it positively is though.
