Monomeria barbata Lindl 1830

Distribution: Burma and Thailand

The genus Monomeria is one member of the Bullbophyllum alliance, there are others, which we will see later. Monomeria barbarta is a cool to intermediate growing species found at high altitudes in Burma and Thailand. The psuedobulbs are 2" tall with a leaf up to 12" long. The inflorescence is 12" long with up to 20 x 1" flowers.
