Odontocidium Wildcat

Colmanara Wildcat

Looks to me like Colmanara Wildcat. Don't know more.

ODONTOCIDIUM Wildcat

The lip is not wide enough to be an Odontocidium Wildcat.

The Bob Cat is all red, not like this one, http://www.orchidboard.com/community/oncidium-odontoglossum-alliance/162...
and the Yellow Butterfly also has a wider lip than this plant..

Wildcat

Hello Anton, I agree with Kochy that this is Odontocidium Wildcat, just not a good one.

Your links above show very good flowers but these plants have been mass produced for many years and come in more colour variants than you can poke a stick at.

As for the lip, it's not good, Papillon will have to flower it again and see if it develops the same, if it does I would call it a tree orchid and buy a new one but that is up to him.

no offence taken here!!

no offence taken here!! I'll see what it looks like next time round. This is its first flowering as a bought seedling. I'm not a perfectionist though, just like growing orchids. It may well join the many already on trees on my property if I run out of room in my shade house.

its all a laugh...glad to

its all a laugh...glad to hear such a cheery reply and yes a first flowering can be a bit ordinary.

Perhaps the next time it will be perfect. It does happen.
