Looks like Dendrobium

Looks like Dendrobium anosmum, but they bloom on dry canes ! I have one that looks just like this one except for the dry canes. I was told by a friend that in the 60's they made a lot of crosses with anosmum in Hawaii but did not name them(?). This is the first of my anosmum to bloom starting in Nov-Dec and it has only a few flowers, after that come the whites snd then the purple-pinks in March-May. I do not dry them. I have seen nobiles bloom on green canes.

Dendrobium anosmum

I have had this plant labeled as Dendrobium anosmum var. huttonii which is a synonym of Dendrobium anosmum. It does flower normally on dry canes but will also flower on canes still retaining its green leaves. This all depends on how much shade or sun you give the plant.Try www.flicker.com and click on search flicker then type in the search box Dendrobium anosmum var huttonii and you will be able to compare your photo with the one on the screen.

I'd be happy to label this one Dendrobium anosmum Pawpaw.
