similar to Dendrobium anosmum
Hey Pak Sheikh....this looks very similar to what I know as Dendrobium anosmum ( http://orchidsonline.com.au/node/1606 ). Is that one of the parents?
Nice photo by the way...

Den. Nestor
Pak and Wellsy, in a way you are both right with your info.
This plant was identified in 1892 by O'Brien as a natural hybrid Den. xnestor but has not been used for breeding and the name has unplaced status.
In 1893 it was registered as Den. Nestor (Den. parishii x Den. anosmum), a primary hybrid by Veitch and has been used in breeding.
I think we should list this one using the valid hybrid name of Den. Nestor.

Hang on Bill
Hang on Bill...
When I checked the name I found the present name in the Monocot listing. It could be that this is a natural hybrid as well that pak has come across in the wild. If it is a wild collected plant then it must be listed as Dendrobium x nestor. We need confirmation of that first I think.

I think you have missed the point I was making Wellsy, the Den. xnestor is an unplaced name, invalid, no botanical value.
If you look up Den. xsuperbiens, you will see the difference how xnestor would have been listed on the Monocot List if it were valid.
Also Pak has not stated that he collected this plant in the wild.
Bill
got me there
Damm....got me there! Lol
Looks like Den. Nestor it is!
