Smitinandia micrantha

Tribe Vandeae, Subtribe Sarcanthinae. Distribution A small genus of three species in S.E.Asia across to Sulawesi. Leaves up to 11cm long distichous, coriaceous, conduplicate, flat, bilobed at the apex. Lateral inflorescence emerging through the leaf sheaths 5.5cm long, flowers 5mm across.
