Mobilabium hamatum is a minature monopodial of the uplands of North Queensland. Generally erect it can become pendant as its stem lengthens. This plant will not tolerate being confined too closely to its mount and prefers to be some distance away only attached by a few roots here and there. It requires a slab of treefern or similar, high humidity and water except in the very cold times.
A dweller of the tree tops, it will need a fair amount of light.
