Dendrobium sanguinolentum

Dendrobium sanguinolentum Lindl., Edwards's Bot. Reg. 28(Misc.): 62 (1842).

Distribution: Thailand, Borneo, Java, Malaysia, Philippines, Sumatra

A superb species which grows to become quite a large specimen under good conditions. Canes reach up to 2 metres long and the bunches of bottlebrush type flowers can appear anywhere along the old leafless canes.
