Dendrobium Daddy Longlegs
Hybrid formula: Dendrobium atroviolaceum X Dendrobium tetragonum var. giganteum
I could be wrong about this name. The RHS lists this as being a cross between Dendrobium atroviolaceum X Dendrobium tetragonum by Walter Upton 1988. Does anyone know if this would also include remakes done with var giganteum?

Your safe
Your safe with this name Steve.
I can understand a little wondering when you find Den. tetragonum and the other four varietal forms are accepted species names.
We have to remember that hybrid registrations work under different rules sometimes and they have lumped all the forms of tetragonum as one for their purposes.
Strange sometimes I know.
