Hi abiom, First time I've seen this lovely colour combination with B.macranthum. I've seen one with no pigmentation, just a sort of ivory colour which looked insipid. Love to see a plant with lots of these coloured flowers with that sweet scent you get with this species.

hi bernabu..since i bought it,this is its first time flowering,it just give me 1 flower at a time.there are 2 more coming. hope better luck with another plant

Hi abiom, I would be happy with a single flower with this colour combination. When your other flowers appear, would it be possible to take a picture of a full flower (from tip-to-tip of the sepals)?,I could then inclide it in my records of this species. Many thanks for showing this picture.

Hi abiom, Many thanks for a first class image both from the species point of view and the pollinating insects together with a predater hiding below and waiting for a meal.
