Bulbophyllum scotinochiton
A recently described species. Distribution: Indonesia and Sumatra. Understorey epiphyte in mossy montane forest dominated by oaks, altitude around 1500m. B.scotinochiton is very similar to B.mirum, but differs in having 1-flowered inflorescences with larger flowers, dorsal 19mm long, lateral sepals around 50mm long. The appendages on the petals are similar but wider on B.scotinochiton and there are differences along the lower margins of the stelidia.
