Arpophyllum

Arpophyllum Lex. in P.de La Llave & J.M.de Lexarza, Nov. Veg. Descr. 2: 19 (1825).

Distribution: Mexico Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatamala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Jamaica, Colombia

Arpophyllum has about five species which are found from Mexico to Columbia. All species grow at intermediate elevations in bright light conditions. This should be remembered when growing as they can be difficult to flower if not enough light is given.
