B.vinaceum and B.elevatopunctatum are supposed to be identical, except that the Sumatrum B.elevatopunctatum has 2 short papillose keels at the base of the lip and distinct teeth along each lower margin of the column. Do the lateral sepals stay united on your species Daniel? and is the normal position of the lip resting against the column?

This is a confirmed B. elevatopunctatum as i am reporting this as a new record for P. M'sia. The lateral sepals often fail to separate completely. Yes, that's the normal position for the lip. -Daniel-
Bulbophyllum elevatopunctatum
