Paphiopedilum hermanii 'Diane'

A native orchid of northern Vietnam, the taxonomic identity of this plant is still in doubt... many believe it is a natural hybrid between Paph henryanum and Paph hirsutissimum. Interestingly, the flower of this 'natural hybrid' seems to be consistent in characteristic, such as colouration, shape and size, further contradicting the notion of it being a hybrid.
