Cattleya gaskelliana bears large flowers to 15cm, pale amethyst flushed white. The lip is large with an orange/yellow disk. A typical labiate Cattleya, erect spike of 2 to 5 flowers which are of good substance.

An open, well drained media is essential, with maximum sunlight short of leaf burn and air movement.
