Phalaenopsis pulcherrima var. champornensis Hort
Synonyms: Doritis pulcherrima Lindl., Gen. Sp. Orchid. Pl.: 178 (1833).
Distribution: Burma,Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Sumatra
Was originally known as Doritis pulcherrima (a monotypic genus) however Doritis is now included in Phalaenopsis.
This peloric form may also known as Phalaenopsis pulcherrima 'champornensis'.

I don't think that I would have spotted this image if it hadn't appeared on the random image. It is such a lovely and unusual colour combination, the fine crystalline surface of the sepals add to the beauty of the flower.
