We need commited people like you, who would like to become contributors to this project. Ideally you will have some writing skills and you are able to research a particular species or genus and add to the knowledge base which is developing here by adding some specific information in some areas of the site.

You certainly do not need to be a botanist (although we welcome expert contributions as well).

One of the aims of this project is to produce an orchid reference which will be dynamic and constantly evolving with each new contribution made by those who are interested enough to make a comment, add an image or contribute a blog.

As an example, you could pick your favourite orchid genus (or a specific species maybe) and let us know you are interested in becoming a maintainer/contributor to that area by using the site contact form (for that you must already be logged in) to send us an email detailing your ideas OR by simply adding a comment detailing your ideas to a specific area. If the site admins like your ideas we will make you the owner of the specific area you requested and then you can edit those areas as you wish.

If you would rather. Simply add the complete content you wish to submit as a comment to the specific area you would like to contribute too.
