Masdevallias are epiphytic, lithophytic or terrestrial plants which are widely distributed from Mexico to southern Brazil most often found in cloud forests. There are approximately 350 species known.
Cultivate in moist, intermediate to cool growing conditions with high humidity. Protect from direct, or bright indirect sunlight.
