Paphiopedilum primulinum M.W.Wood & P.Taylor, Orchid Rev. 81: 220 (1973).
Distribution: Sumatra (S. Aceh)
Related to the Paphiopedilum glaucophyllum group, and grown in the same way. This is a green leafed species that will need extra sunlight, a well drained media to stay damp but not wet and considering its native habitat, a shallow but wider container to allow the roots system to spread out.
Paphiopedilum primulinum lasts well and is a progressive flowerer and will flower over a considerable period of time so it is best if the spike is staked or supported in some way.
