Dendrochilum cobbianum

Dendrochilum cobbianum

Edit as per comments below.

Original submission

I was sold this plant as Dendrochilum filiforme, but it does not resemble a filiforme i saw at a recent show. Could it have been incorrectly named?

Dendrochilum cobbianum

I am not 100% sure but it looks more like Dendrochilum cobbianum alex za. The plant form in the background looks more like D. cobbianum to me as well.

cobbianum

Thanks Wellsy,
I agree, the plant i have has far more delicate leaves than those of the filiforme i saw on show. This is the only Dendrochilum i have and they are a bit of a mystery, but this plant seem to like me - always a good thing

hey alex

hey alex...in my experience D. filiforme plants are the ones you would describe as delicate.

If it's a delicate looking plant its still a possibility that it is filiforme.
