Cirrhopetalum melanoglossum Hayata 1914
Bulbophyllum melanoglossum is a true miniature grower from the section Elatae which is found at around 1500 m. It bears umbels of 8-12, 1.5cm long flowers in early Summer.
Can be grown equally well in a pot or on slabs of cork or tree fern fibre given bright light and kept evenly moist with good air movement. The small flowers are very well displayed above the foliage and it will also form a specimen readily under favourable conditions. Do your self a favour...try to get a plant in your collection!
